Game: Participate to the Endurance Race on Facebook
After Vaulting, Reining, and Para-Dressage, the Organising just launched a new game on Facebook to get you ready for the Endurance race that will take place in the Bay of Mont St Michel on Thursday, 28 August 2014* !
The rules are quite simple : use the space bar or "tap" button to make your horse accelerate and complete 160 kilometers divided in 5 loops** as fast as possible. But beware : each acceleration increases your horse‘s heart beat, and the heart rate of your horse must be below 64 beats / minute when it gets to the end of each loop***. Each pulse above that means you lose 4 Points... so you'll really to find the right balance between speed & energy if you want to get a high score !
Only your best score counts so you can play as many times as you want.
Many prizes are up for grabs : 2 Mini-Normans and 2 tickets to the Endurance race to the "champion', and products the Games’ official store of the Games for the other "medalists".
Be strategic !

**The distance of each of the 5 loops in the Endurance course of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy varies between 20km and 40km. The length of the loop in the game is completely random.
***In a real Endurance race, the groom unsaddles, refreshes and monitors the horse’s heart rate at the end of each loop before it passes to the vet gate. Generally, this recovery phase lasts between 90 seconds and 15 minutes. The recovery phase is not taken into account in this game.
